Another simple af look when the temp is delightful & you don’t have to worry about 13739 layers. P.S apologies for constantly forgetting to get snaps of the shoes. I’m rolling my eyes at myself.
Oversized denim: there really is something about it that gives me the heart eyes. This Balenciaga number is cut to the perfect levels of over-sized-ness [most def – size down, as it is already cut to swamp you] and, for me, is timeless & chill af. Get ready to see a LOT of it.
Paired with some simple high waisted trousers I’ve worn to death, fav Gucci boots & distressed tee.
Date night last weekend – in which we couldn’t really capture the outfit [thank you, January, for your lack of light past 3:35pm & rainy nature] nevertheless – I present these here images for you.
Appreciate you cannot see the outfit at all well, but we need to talk about the trousers. You gotta take my word for it, but these high-waist, pocket featuring, wide leg trousers from & Other Stories are an absolute new fav – I cannot recommend them enough. They are so high waist [not mid-rise, which I so often find] so damn comfortable & flattering. Adore.
Sometimes, I take a break from #allblackeverything & hit up some neutral tones.
I’ve worn this coat approx. 7,439 times thus far – it’s my trusty school-run bud & excellent for layering. Although quite light, the long length keeps the warmth in & I love the belt tie.
An outfit I wore last Sunday – & would wear on many a chill kinda day.
So into this hoodie from Unravel [same guys as that bomber] that I picked up in the sale. I love love love the cut of their stuff, & all the badass deets they include. Paired with some old jeans & a bodysuit.
There may not be enough pics of this outfit [apologies, was right before the Blogosphere panel last weekend] but my reason for naming the title of this post in such a prestigious manner is down to the fact that this combo, in varying forms, is my go-to, I wanna-feel-good outfit.
The mix of a fav thrashed tee, with streamlined blazer, and wide flares, sets me in the perfect mood; every. single. time. I urge you to try it for yourself.
Looking at my stats, I joined Etsy ten years ago…ten.years.ago. In that time, I’ve sought out countless vintage band tees, scored vintage & handmade jewellery, fuelled a turquoise obsession, & even had my own shop. To say I’m a fan of Etsy’s entire concept – would be an understatement. I adore vintage, love shopping small, & love it as a pit-stop for handmade gifts.
If you’ve followed along here for a while, you’ll know I’m obsessed with vintage band tees – the more thrashed, the better. Most of my favs, if not from my teenage years, have been Etsy finds. Same goes for vintage jewellery – whether seeking for myself, or as a present [heavenly for gifting – linked some fav items below]
This year, try seeking out individual, super-special gifts – buy vintage & know your item is actual treasure [this is how I look at vintage tbh, plus you’re reusing items – super sustainable] or shop handmade & know you’re not only getting a unique present, but you’re helping a small business…
